lol I think some problems people had with the energy ones were "what" energy and "who" is sponsoring it. I heard one of them was just one technology and supported by the manufacturer. Kind of lame. But I am not 100% sure about this info.

 

I can't believe Prop 8 looks like its going to pass (~30% precints reporting) and that Prop 4 is going to not pass (~30% precints).

By the way Prop 8 if it passes will not last and will be dropped most likely. In fact allot of the props are just temp setbacks or achievements (depending on the persons view).

 

Prop 4 not passing means parents won't know if their minors are having an abortion. So if you're under 18, you can have an abortion and not tell your parents. How f'ed up is that? What if something goes wrong with the abortion and there is unnecessary bleeding. If I had a daughter I would want to know.

Anyways, what rights do minors have anyways? Parents should know wtf their kids are doing. If you (parent + child) can't have an open talk about sex (if you are activelyhaving sex or not) then something is wrong.

kids are going to have sex whether or not they practice safe sex. why not give them the option to get out while they still can?

raising an unwanted child is hard.
putting the kid up for adoption or foster care does not always result in happy endings.

if a kid had a tumor i am pretty sure the parents would want it removed. so why not cut the middle man out and let the kid say "hey. lets take out my tumor today."

You have the benefit of still being in school and having the life style already there for college (even though it's not really the same ) I have not been in college full time (16 + credits a semester) in about 18yrs. I am REALLY out of practice....
