I'd go for what ya think looks best personally....It is a car thats as aerodynamic as brick!LOL
The performance gains are only 8-12hp for intake and exhaust togeher(so i hear) JMO

good luck with your purchase!

Well, the Injen SR makes the most out of all the SR out there. Now with the CAI, Aem has a dry filter element that doesn't need oiling to run. With Injen, though, it requires to be oil every so often to maintain air flow performance. Its up to you. I would go with Injen just for the fact that it comes in black or bling bling polish finish.

It would be nice if jdm companies like ARC make a complete intake system and not just a filter like Blitz and HKS. It would be sweetttt if ARC makes a intake box. Instant jdm brownie points.

Another thing, raining season is coming up. CAI aren't the best to sport in these conditions, especially when u live around L.A. and the OC. Just a heads up.

My opinion, though, Injen CAI or SR.

Very cool, thanks. Anyway to make these intakes blue? Can I just spray it or do I need something special? >_>

Uhhh...I'm not a pro on that topic. U'll more than likely have to powercoat it with something that can handle high temperatures.

but 9hp is a 10% power gain over stock, if it's 9 to the wheels. the K&N system says it gets 8.xxxhp by itself, they have a banner ad here on sl.

Its all up to you Disturbed. K&N is a reputable company, btw. Don't believe the high numbers, like 8hp-12 hp increase. All companies claim high numbers. What really counts is the wheel hp, power that is actually felt. Intakes let the engine gain anywhere from 2-4hp. THERE is no company that makes an intake for an xB that gives 10 wheel hp. if there was, man, we could actual race our cars then.

Set up ur paint ball guns guys. Lil' treaters might get a nice treat.
