lol well more bad news. My iPone just went on the fritz! No I have no phone till,... I have no idea. Dunno if the phone got zapped or my SIM is fried. No idea.

I guess I will have to make allot of trips to my Mom's house soon to make phone calls.

sometimes mine, well teh screen on mine, wont go out of sleep (It stays black) unless i plug it in to something

 

dunno man. All I did was use it like a baby. But recently some calls would fail and last night as I was using the edge network and looking stuff up if kind of just stopped working. Froze up and now every time I restart it It tells me a Restore is needed. Also itunes says the SIM card is not there, but the phone does not say anything.

It;s just freaky and the apple support site does nothing but makes me even more worried.

no good Funny a friend argued with me tonight "what SIM card!" he said Looks like the new iPhone does not use a SIM card. I have the older 8gig one and it does use a SIM. Gonna try and be at the apple store early....

You have the new one? I looked at it tonight and saw no SIM hatch like mine has. I live like 5min form Little Tokyo

 

I have the new one & the SIM goes on the top of the phone, there's a tiny hole that you can poke with a paperclip or something to release the SIM holder.

 

^ yup they give u a "SIM removal tool" with it but u could just use a paperclip

 

well I could not see it on my friends newer iPhone but I have it on mine. Strange maybe cause it was black?

I dunno but I am trying to get to the store today! I am kind of ____ed cause I love the phone but not very optimistic about the outcome since I am the second owner...

Well BIG SURPRISE the ATT store told me to go to the apple store. I made a 2pm appointment with the Genius Bar I think they are gonna be about just as helpful though.
