The holidays are coming, so what is everyone doing to protect their ride? My friend (has a civic) got his stereo stolen today, in front of security!!!!!

Yep, yep. It x-mas time. Time to start stressin', start to give a little holiday spirit while shopping (being sarcastic), and our better driver comes out of us. lol.

I can't wait to do my first year shopping on my own.

There are Scions everywhere, just finding owners who know the scene are hard.

I know. I don't want to just start talking to people with em' cuz they probably aren't enthusists. They most likely don't even care what they drive......aka the 90% of people that aren't on scionlife or some other decent scion forum.
What kind of meets do you guys have around here. I'm new, and I was looking foreward to the pomona meet on the 11th of this month, but it got cancelled.

WHere do u live, in CA exactly? Your thingy says MA or WA, something, lol. I hear that scion owners have a meet in Orange County bi-weekly. Really, I feel like the meets are dying down. I don't hear anymore shows anymore. I guess everyone is saving up for x-mas.

I fear making friends, especially ones like this...........(HIM)="What are u going to do to your car?" (ME)="I going to put an exhaust, intake, header, and some suspension stuff." (HIM)="Oh, make it fast and the furious style with the graphics and stuff." ....................HELLL NOOOOOO........fast and furious was only cool for the industry, not die hard people. We are people who believe having graphics is not cool, unless it is airbrush. We don't believe in "thunder strike" graphics or "tiger claw." We are anything but ricer and F&F. These are the people that I fear or IMO, are not welcomed, or not acknowledge. I call them clowns.

Listen up fruitcake, There's nothing wrong with having body graphics as long as it's done tastefully. Why is it if someone does something you don't agree with, it's labeled "rice"? Since when is it a crime for a person to build a car to his or her liking? Why does a person have to be ridiculed for doing something they like, but everyone else is against? Who do you think you are to judge? Would you call bBist or Kirby "ricers", probably not. I understand that everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion, but if that's what that persons individual style is then let them do it. I can go on to say that those who pu t"bB" emblems on their "xB" are ricers. I don't care if they came off of the same assembly line, there are still alot of differences between them. I may sound like an ___ right about now, but I'm tired of hearing the term "rice" or "ricer" being thrown around just because you don't agree with a persons particular style. How about you try to be "different" and try not to follow the latest trend... ex: sportmax 002s.....

Nothing wrong with keeping it real. I know i may have ruffled some feathers, but that's what keeping it real is about. I'm not going to tell you something you did to your car looks good and then talk bad about it behind your back. If I have something to say about you whether it's good or bad, I'll say it to your face. And to teabox, there are no hard feelings, just don't bash on someones style just because you don't dig on it. I personally don't like it when people roll on stock steelies, but to each his own. That's what being a tuner is all about.

I think that is why I should've stayed with my 90' civic. With Honda's, there is no "tribal" graphics philosophy, lol. See, graphics like those found on bBist and Kirb's ride are actually sticker graphics. The graphics I'm talking about are those that u buy at Kragen that aren't tasteful, but that is just me. Now with the "lastest" trend being 002s, its played out. See, if I had $$$$, I would get the wheels that I want, like Jlines or some VIP inspired wheels. Since I don't have this, $$$$, that is why I roll on steelies. Nothing wrong with them. I mean, if it bothers you a lot, buy me rims, lol. THat is why when I see people with steelies, I don't mash on them because they are on the same book as me. What a nice world, don't u think? I don't want to start a violent fight, but I guess this argument should be talked about in person. There is a lot of "easter eggs" with cool graphics and bad graphics.

AND, Tasha. As long u don't put those "tribal" graphics, ur car isn't really ricer. Just show-prep, lol. THen again, oh never mind..........I want to say is that graphics is a real borderline mod, that is all. Sorry if I sound confusing.
