Default OFFICIAL xB Cruise review, thoughts,comments/ NEW IDEA

I personally want to thank everyone who came out for the cruise who showed up at Scion of Hollywood, parking lot of Mervyn's, and those who finished the cruise with us down to Carlsbad.

I know the last minute change to get to PCH, from the dealer was not a could choice and confused everyone. The traffic through L.A. was a complete disaster. I would take sole responsibility for that. I should of went with my gut instinct to take the freeway straight to the lunch stop. The reason why I did not because it would have taken about a 1/2 hour from here to there.

Once we got in PCH in Orange County conditions improved ALOT! I wanna thank everyone who gutted it out and continued to Carlsbad. Hope some of you guys got some good shots of the sunset.

I dont think I've ever seen so many Scion xB's at a gas station on PCH ever in my life. lol

Again I wanna thank everyone who came out hope everyone got home safe and sound.

Now let's see those pics and video clips! =)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Roland from Scion Kreationz and I were talking over the phone last night coming up things for the next cruise. Trying to come up with something that would kick it up a notch and something more than just a cruise. Roland came up with a idea of camping out on the beach. So I said "BRILLIANT FU#%ING BRILLIANT!"

So a drawn up concept that we have right now.

Any San Diego peeps can meet up in SD and cruise to Scion of Hollywood where they would meet with L.A. & O.C. peeps from Scion of Hollywood we can meet up with people up North at Scion of Oxnard or some place around there and then from there drive up to Solvang. Chill at solvang for awhile and cruise up to the Oceano Dunes with is located in The city of Grover beach and we camp out over night and we take over the beach.

"Dogs can walk, horses can run and people can even build bonfires on these beaches, nestled between Pismo Beach and the protected Oceano Sand Dunes. There is beach camping but it's quite popular and you have to plan ahead. "

Let us know what you guys think

On the website it states it cost $5-15 to park on the beach but i think its $5 for passenger cars. Roland and I are gonna get in contact with officials to the beach and see if we can lower it to like $3 and also see if they would be able to flatten out the sand a little more for you LOW LOWS.

Hopefully we can get some sponsors as well for the next cruise

but Let us know what you guys think about the idea

Heres a link to Oceano Dunes where we would be camping

I personally think it was a good idea and the plans were good. Just some people got lost and oh well. I give props though for sure because you guys took your own time to put this together and I had fun for making this my last scion event. I thanks Scion Kreations for making this happen and taking your time to do this! Thanks to Scion of Hollywood for letting us park there and start off from there. Maybe I might just get another Gen1 sometime and be able to join the next cruise!

THANKS SCION KREATIONS & SCION OF HOLLYWOOD!

PS: I want to do a Scion Cruise heading up North on the 101 through Santa Barbara up to Lompoc or Santa Maria because I know the freeway all the way out there is basically clear one you hit Goleta.

Ditto, thanks to all for setting up the cruise today!

Most memorable moments:
-Filling three lanes across on PCH in Huntington Beach with like 16-20 cars
-Taking over an entire gas station for us

It was great and i really enjoyed it. it would of been better tho if we drove a bit slower than traffic so cars wouldnt get in our ways and not lose as many people. but this was an awesome event. cant wait till the next one.

Thank for all the Kudos!
Scion Kreationz was Glad to help, but in Reality, the Idea for the XB Cruise was Thanks to Bobby from Scion Militia. He, with a little Help from Roland from Scion Kreationz put this all together. The Rest of us from Scion Kreations only helped in getting the word out. And our Sponsor Corey at Scion of Hollywood helped us out with the Meet upm spot and some swag.

We had alot of fun, met some new people.

I can't wait to see what Bobby and Roland set up for next year!
Heck, I don't know if I can wait til' next year!

i think the people who have prepared this event didn't realize that it would be this big...It is understandable that this is the first so hick-ups are bound to happen...either way, it was a lot of fun and one hell of an experience..

Let's hope next time would be better organized....a freeway route would be better, this way we can have 2-3 miles single line of all xB's...now that's something that has to be in video...

If you guys want to organize something again....we can have starting point here in Carson, I know of a huge parking lot that can accomodate so many xb's along with food places while waiting (starbucks, hawaiian, chinese, wing stop, etc.)

Big thanks to you who made this happen!!!

Most definately we'll have another one and nothing but highways routes will be most certain.

Now that we know what "not" to do it'll only get better

I would say lets do a cruise to Solvang which is 20 minutes past Santa Barbara. After Santa Barbara its open Highway and can stop at State Beaches past Ventura.
