So when i get to work today, this is what i find in the service bay getting PDI'd (sorry for crappy pics, bringing the rebel xti tomorrow!)

PDI = Pre Delivery Inspection

Basically this is the check list the dealer uses when examining a new car, prior to final delivery to the customer. The car usually comes "wrapped" in plastic sheeting (usually hood fenders and roof) to prevent damage to the paint in transport. The technician then checks lubrication, engine, cooling system, braking system, steering and suspension, wheels and tires (usually this is when the hubcaps go on the car), electrical (windows are set), body (taking off the wrap), literature (car manuals), and then the fun part.. the test drive.

Bob Baker Lexus in El Cajon. I'm guessing the car is going to be on display tomorrow because the paper in the car says "sold to the house... for now" haha.
