Find your invoice and bring that with you. If you don't have one go to the dealer and ask the for one. But if you have a header you should change it.

Yeah the ticket was $123 but the headers is what makes your exhaust louder, the intake not really but I left my on and the state ref was cool about it but told me that I shouldn't have it because that can get me another ticket, so in order to pass you have to remove the intake and headers. Do this, go to court first and see the clerk once you have received the ticket in the mail and take the paper that saids that the TRD exhaust came with the car and show her. Keep it cool and ask her if there is any way you can take the car to the state ref to get it checked out and if she said no then tell her that your short on cash and will return so that leaves you with option 2. Now option 2 is walk away and go to the front desk and ask for the state ref paper that are local so you can make an appointment and try getting a date that is like ASAP because the ticket is like a 30 days or so that you can wait to pay it off. Go get your car checked out and take the state ref paper saying that you passed the california exhaust db noise..blah blah, so anyways you go back to court as if your gonna pay for the ticket, now you show her the ticket and if she saids that is wasn't non correctble and why did you take it to get checked off and you say well last time I came the clerk told me that it was and gave you the state ref paper to go get it checked out and hope you pay the $25 fix it fine or make a date to see the judge and hope he is chill and let's you off the hook like me. Pretty sure your confused about what I just typed but I did that and got away without paying a cent.

misdemeanor is what they usually put unless you where speeding or making like a u-turn then it could be infraction. exhaust ticket is like $120+, headers' i've heard from about $240+, intake like another $200 but each one varies on how they marked you down and what exactly they got you for so it could change. just wait 2 weeks until your ticket comes in the mail and let us know, also does it said fixable or non fixable?

I thought it was just a $10 fix-it ticket? Are they not doing that anymore?

fix it tickets are $25, $10 to the courthouse and $15 to the shieff. but he hasn't put if they wrote correctable of non-correctable, if correctable then yeah $25 as long as he removes everything aftermarket.

the modified emissions is not fixable and it says misdemeanor and the modified exhaust is fixable. so what does that mean?

hmm well go to the court and ask them what you can do but do change the exhaust, what they might have you do is take the car to go get smog checked for emissions...
