Default Opinions on Sirius

Guys,

Just wanted to find out what your opinions are on Sirius (either if you recieved free from our event or you purchased yourself). Would you consider keeping Sirius in your car after your free 9 months? If so, what rates would you feel would be appealing to you?

We received Sirius from the Longo event and we do plan on keeping it after the nine months.

I dont know about the extra channels unless you're referring to the Rap stations like Shad3 45.

All you do is call them and have them upgrade you from the family package. Its still free!

:D

I love Maxim 145, best station ever.

The thing that is making me reconsider keeping sirius, is the sketchiness of service i sometimes recieve. I have began to loathe freeway overpasses.

but, I'll probably pick up with $12.95 a month.

"Extra" channels aren't really extra, they are the normal channels. I guess they give you some family plan from the dealer?? Thats no fun

We had it installed at the Longo Event. This is all we have to say. WE LOVE IT! More than enough stations to keep us happy and you can listen to the same station for 1000 miles as we did this weekend going to Scion Night II and then to the Sanger event outside of Fresno Sunday on our way out of the way drive home! Anything to support our fellow Scion Clubs!
Thanks Verone!

LVScionGal- Maxim Radio is a talk radio station (as in Maxim Magazine) and they are just so funny.

They have this thing called the "Yo Momma Invitationals" and they have two people battle it out with yo mamma jokes.

two thumbs up.

I dont know about you guys, but mine cuts out ALL THE TIME.

When I was driving up north to the Sanger show, I only got reception maybe 2/3 of the way! It was so disappointing! This is satellite radio and yet I was getting NO SIGNAL for sometimes 20-30 min on end! I finally got sick of it and went back to CDs.

I like it when I get reception but dont see the point in spending a monthly fee for sometimes crappy reception.

=/

Around town, I only get small delays [overpasses, parking structures, etc] but when I went for my first road trip up north since having it installed, I was counting on it for my road tunes!

I was so disappointed that it was being so finicky!
