Above is a link with directions to the Ventura County Racegrounds, it starts around five so were tryin to leave around 4ish from down here.... I've been to a couple of these races and they are not as redneck as they might sound... they are a lot of fun to watch.... It's like very high speed rally dirt road drifitng , but on a oval dirt track, with way too many cars than should be on at one time.... Most of the cars are the size of go carts and run 1000cc sportbike engines..... they sound nutty and the scene gets loud and exciting.... It's kind of like watching hardcore drifting, it takes a lot of skill, very high speeds, and a lot of competition.
