I took over 25 videos of the cars racing and am uploading some to youtube as I type this.
The new Rockstar TC is just nutz, sounds like a beast its just too bad Ken didnt qualify into the top 32 , I would have loved to see his new setup on the track
Thanks again Scion VIP

DAMN I'm tired. I spent nearly 13 hours down there today. Shot about 600 pics, but narrowed it down 500 shots. I will not have any pictures up on my Flickr till mid-week, but some of my pics may show up on http://www.AutoImportCraze.com soon.
It was a great event, though I thought there were some questionable calls from the judges in terms of scoring. Thought Chris Forsberg won his round, but he was knocked out pretty early. Same with Rhys. Great day none the less. Amazing drifts, amazing people, tagged along with the symphony of engine sounds is never a bad formula. Pun intended.
This was the most legit VIP ever. Nothing fancy, just a simple layout and thats all that was needed. Not only was the weather on the fresh side, but the vendors and EVEN the dozen+ amazing models were cool. If anyone complains, I'm sorry, but let me know so I can knock your head because nothing can beat "Free" beer and great BBQ beef.
Thank you Scion.
oh, who won the competition? I left when Foust lost =(.

What a blast. Pretty much what everyone has already said about how Scion treats its owners. I swear I would have an xB if my pre-crossover didn't already get me 27-30mpg! The show part of it looked so wrong. If the Scion owners weren't there to show because of VIP, it would have looked worse in terms of attendance. Last years show was WAYYYYYYY bigger and busier.
The Scion VIP event....smaller than last year, but more "intimate" and a higher caliber. Last year they admitted 100 owners and a guest. This year was 50 + a guest which resulted in less peeps but a higher quality event. I'll let everyone else compare this year's and last years. I only question WTF did I pay $3.50 + tip for one can of soda while everyone got FREE beer? What's wrong with this picture here? Encouraging me to drink and shoot? haha Either way any VIP is great to be part of.
As for the racing, good pick up with Foust this season. I think it was kinda BS also having to make him keep racing to see if he races for first or third. Didn't look right. But like ca shows, it's all relative to what the judges think. bastards
With Ken Gushi, I was hoping he'd have better luck this season. Not a good way to start the circuit. He ended up #33 and only the top 32 raced on Saturday. Damn judges. haha If any of you get a chance to see Ken, he's one of the most approachable drivers in the scene. Feel free to approach him and say hi.
Thanks Scion, Urban Racer, and Beyond for another great experience. Sorry no pics until late Monday from me.

fun day only downfall was when my friend clipped a construction cone on the 22 West and it mysteriously came down at my front end and destroyed my front lip and ruined my front bumper even more q=[. my car has battle scars everywhere!
