Default Scion Superhighway Road Info...

Does anyone happen to know what freeways we will be taking to
the spot in Santa Barbara?

Does anyone know the road conditions?

I'm asking because me and a friend are getting front ends and lip kits
painted at Midnight Garage in Walnut...

I'm worried of having my front end demolished, chipped, and screwed up
and my friend with his lip kit as well.

Why not get clear bra for rock chips? As for road conditions, we live in LA dude. ____ is always on the freeway. Just be careful when you drive.

I can't get enough money together for clearbra in time for
this event, ahhhhhh.

Since I don't know where in SB we'll be cruising to, here's a generic map:

Google Maps

It's about 90 miles, so it should be one helluva drive!

I drive from Burbank to Santa Barbara almost weekly. The 101 thru the valley on up is usually free of rocks and broken concrete. There is a washboard section of highway in Camarillo, so if your suspension is stiff, you're probably not going to enjoy those 3 or 4 miles.

Other than that... blue painter's tape.

If Scion Corp set this up, I'm sure they have already gotten all the nesesary permits that it will take to make this happen, so no worries..

and tis will be film in the road and from the air..so most likely the 101 will be the route they will be taking because of the scenery...jmo...see you all there. Peace

Ryan, just use blue tape man...hahaha

+1 I'm sure they've taken all the precautions to make this a great event. I wouldn't worry about cops, and whatnot. As far as the roads, I'm sure Scion understands that most of the cars attending will be modified/lowered too.

There's always going to be a risk of damage to your car, because after all, we do live in SoCal...

Hey Ryan, I just got back fom traveling up the 101 yesterday from lompoc. The roads arent that bad (Providing know ones moving and dropping boxes on the highway!)
I'll check the map when we get all the details. i'm think in its a 60-90min cruise at tops. make sure your gassed up before hitting dodjers stadium.

laters!

Me living about 35-40min from my house in Ventura, it probably take about 1hour 30min, but if traffic kicks in I'd say about 2 hours.
