Default SCION TC RACING VIDEO

I would like to introduce myself to those of you who do not know me. My name is Jp Ha, I work for CamelBack Scion. My car is not like anyone else's as I am using my car for road racing. I have raced several times at Firebird Raceway and the last race was on February 10th & I took runner-up in my division.

I just wanted to share my passion of racing with the community. I plan on having a Turbo installed in March by TurboToyotas, which will farther my passion for racing.

This is the video from Feb. 10th Race

video is nice.. love the gutted interior but i agree.. u need a proper seat and harness setup. also
i just wana know how u managed to squeeze out 185 hp?? from just Intake, header, and exhuast?? seems a little high for the light mods you have....

thank you for your concern... i had simpson 4 point harness with sparco sprint seat while i was racing... these pictures are old before i changed a feww parts....
my tc is spec model that is lighter than regular tc...
strupt headers---10hp
strupt exhaust---8hp
fusita intake---8hp
engine dampner--4hp
we figured out power ratio to weight ration--100 lb to 5 hp
my tc weighs 200-250 lb lighter than regular one...
we will add turbotoyotas stage 2 kit in 3 weeks...
i will post next racing vedio with more power..
thank you...

an engine dampener doesnt add horsepower silly

and that might be your flywheel horsepower... your wheel horsepower is probably in teh 140's or 150's ^^

dampners dont ad power they just help you transfer power and not loose any hp/tq as the engine vibrates transfering tq to the wheels to get you to move... i would imagine with your mods you should be in the 160's.. maybe at the crank 170-180 max..i would get your car dynoed to really see were your at and how much you would gain later on when you go on boost.

HIGHLY doubt 200 flywheel hp. if possible, try and get it on a dyno before u go turbo. not only will u be able to analyze what the turbo actually yielded u, but we'll be able to see what those mods actually gave u.

Congrats man, I'm planning on entering my car in a few road racing events this year, I'm just using this car for now to practice, but my business partner and I will be building a full racing tC in the near future, hey....do you have any pointers for a beginner like me, thanks.

try to add:
clutch/flywheel combo - this will free up more hp
solid engine mount rather than tq damper - transfers power more than the damper your using
mid-pipe... dont forget that
proper air/fuel ratio - try to maintain at 13.1 when WOT
cf hood
coilover
sway bars
lighter wheels - if not in the car yet

dont know if you have the parts mentioned above installed or not... but that will make your car more competative to others... dont know what i missed but that should give you some idea
oh yeah... if u can afford it... go stand alone system...
