does anybody know how close this is to nellis air force base?

 

According to Google Maps its about 22 minutes away (13.7 miles).

HIN’s Competition Requirements -
“We require a vehicle to be complete, the exterior must be fully painted and all interior panels must be in place. We also require a minimum of five modifications to showcase your vehicle. The only mandatory modification is that your ride must have a set of aftermarket wheels and tires. Other modifications we would like to see but not limited to include lip kits or body kits, lowering springs and aftermarket lighting. There are a few situations to look out for such as if your vehicle is in primer or has noticeable body damage, even with the minimum requirements; you will not be accepted for showcasing.”

hey guys.. im in!!! just out of curiosity.. what hotel are you guys staying at?? and how much a night is it?

 

i think roll in is from 9-10 am on saturday so you will have to leave pretty early if you leave saturday. see everyone there!!

 

yea.. thats what they told me.. or roll in on friiday is 2-8.. i hope to try and make that roll in

 

yea i along with other sciontific members will roll out fri morning...

 

yea your right. they said that you can leave you car there on friday or you can come in on saturday moring. theres only a 1 hour window to get all the cars in that day .man i hope i don't over sleep

we are still working that out.we will post where we are heading out from and the time some time this week

 

does this mean that if you go to the roll in on friday, that you have to leave your car there. or can you go take it to your hotel, then just come in on sat. with out doing all that roll in stuff?

 

If you dont do it on Friday you have to do it in that 2 hr time span on Saturday... I'm pretty sure once you do roll in.. your ar stays there.. they have to get em all situatued

 

"When you check-in you will be given two wristbands, one for yourself and one for whoever is going to bring you back the next day."

the statement above would leave me to beleive that you will be leaving your car there

 

For friday u roll in between 2pm to 8pm and you have some time to setup ur car and leave it there.. then you will need to find transportation from there to the hotel u plan on staying at.. for sat there is a 1hr window from what they told me its between 9am - 10pm... the thing is if u roll in on sat ur placement will be farther back compared to being placed up front if u go on friday.. i really want to go on friday but i don't think i will have a support car or have a hotel to stay at lol..

 

looks like i might be walkin back to my hotel room lol... does anybody know of a "do it yourself" car wash type of deal around that area? or how are you guys getting your car clean?

 

we'll prob be cleanin our cars at the stadium when we get there really quick hehe...if anyone is intrested in rollin out with sciontific we will be rollin out frid mornin aound 10:00am we should be about 6 cars heading out hope to see u guys there

No roll in will be for those both days.. thats just for scion evolution peeps i guess there goin to roll in on sat.. because what preston told me from urbanracer/scion vip we can go either friday or sat at the designated times.

 

Sam Boyd Stadium is located at the end of Russel road and is bordered swamp. I don't think it that safe out there,I would really think twice about leaving your car there overnight.
