our warmest BEST WISHES and CONGRATULATIONS to our friends
from SCION EVOLUTION for an invitation to their SPECTACULAR
2nd ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION !!!
Saturday March 11, marked that AWESOME CELEBRATION despite
the weather which didn't discourage all those who attended !!!
Here are my pix from that day !!! Unfortunately I personally had
to leave early so I didn't get to see the Raffle and the Polynesian
Entertainment, damn that bites !!!
The early morning Scion of Glendora Caravan !!!

Then we headed into gloomy Downtown Los Angeles ...

Entering the Museum District !!!

A nice sidestreet on the way to the Petersen Automotive Museum ...

And after arriving it was time to clean up the Scinergy rides !!!

Then it was time to join the folks in SE and see the awesome rides on site !!!

My buddy Brad's awesome ride from Nor Cal, safe driving home !!!

Here's my buddy Ron aka Orataro, thanks for the awesome jdm tray !!!

The weather was clear and it was great to get back on the roof !!

We wanted to take some Scinergy shots to dedicate to our friends

GREAT FOLKS FROM SE for a wonderful invitation to another great ANNIVERSARY !!!

Thanks for the pix Rodney and thanks to the support of Scinergy.
Despite the morning rain we had a great turnout.
All the Scion executives from the VP - Mark Templin and his kids to all the Scion marketing and the special guest from Toyota HQ all the way from Japan....everyone had fun and really appreciated the support of the entire Scion community.
Thanks to those that gave input to the tC Chief Engineer - Mr. Nagai who came all the way from Japan with his other Toyota associates.
Thanks to all the helped out the film crew brought by Scion to film the event and thanks to all that participated and interacted with the press (there were so many of them that day). Who knows, to all that were interviewed....you might be on the next Scion or Toyota commercial like when we did the same thing at TORC 2 years ago.
This is so far the biggest event in regards to raffle prizes...from rims to suspension systems. A few lucky winners went home with thousands of dollars in merchandise. Thanks to the generosity of Toyota, Scion, Turn 3, 5Axis, Hotchkis, Jaz Wheels, Import Revolution,JADA Toys, Goldline, MotorFX, bBist, AIT, 5Fujita, Ron "Orataro",Weapon R and all those that donated prizes for this event.
Special thanks to the 2 live bands that played for us as well as the Polynesian dancers.
Special thanks to our new SE member - Scion sponsored racer extrodinaire - Lesli Durst for coming out to support..Niel Tjin for bringing the UPS xB..Troy Sumitomo - our most famous SE member who brought out all his rides....and all the nice SEMA and commercial cars from Jada, Paul N (from the Scion xA commercial) etc....
Thanks to all the SE chapters from Hawaii, Central Coast, Central Valley, San Diego, Las Vegas and those that came from far away for the commitment.
Thanks again to all of Scion Corp and Toyota for coming to the event in large numbers and bringing people from Toyota Motor Corp - Japan and Attik to film during the event. Thanks to Toyota Motor Sales USA and Scion LA Region for donating those awesome trophies for the sanctioned r/c race...there was a good turn out for the racing and those guys were in awe on how BIG the trophies were...they can't wait for the next one and I am sure we turned a few of them into future Scion owners
And of course, thanks to all the Scion owners that came out there and Scion clubs that came out in strong numbers - Scion Image, Scion Xtreme, Scion Exclusive and our good friends from Scinergy as always.
Hope to see you guys on the 3rd Year Anniversary....it's going to be hard to top this one (having all 4 5Axis cars in one spot --- this was a first etc....) but we will try our best to impress.

Everyone was at one with each other. no beefs, no ish talkin, back stabbing, just a lot of fun. think how you want to about the past, but I look back at that and just remember the good times with everyone all together.
