Again we are considering this change because of the weather and D's hospitality in offering us an indoor facility to have our meets, sorry of the inconvinience of some if we do decide on the move. If anyone knows of a place that is willing to let us meet up indoors and is large enough to accomadate us all, that is located in the Cerritos area, pls do let us know. Thanks

 

i like the 626 idea. that is freeway friendly

 

is the 605, 60/57, 10 and teh 210 in 626? are they really friendly? i've always been in traffic on does freeways around 6.30-9 on fridays. but it coud jus be my bad luck.

nilo asked for any ideas in cerritos, if not then who minds a move to LTL? also if you do not want to go to LTL THEN please suggest somewhere local (to where we meet already).

sorry to sound rude, but nothing had been said here except....

lets move it here and there.....the main reason we wanna move to LTL is beacuse they offered, and its indoors. that means we wont have to ASK other people if its ok that we meet there.

 

Great point Jeremy...that's what I've been trying to convey to everyone, we would'nt even consider making a move if not for the weather and the offer from D to use his indoor facilities, He's been an awesome supporter of SE and a gret guy.

I you do know of a place in the LOCA CERRITOS area the can accomadate the big group that we have, please let us know...thanks again.

 

if are looking for a place to meet up indoor and ltl is too far then why don't we meet up at a pizza place? most places will offer group discounts.

i am up for ltl, se needs to show support for the businesses that help them. that is part of being in a club and keeping relationships.

 

So after hearing 5+ responses as far as being FOR a move towards the 626--you guys are still keeping it in cerritos?

The thing is--i'm not asking for it to be like 2 streets away from my house...just would like to be able to hang out with you guys without driving 45 minutes each way.

 

I drive over an hour in traffic to get to the meets.

you guys wanting the meets to move to 626. im down with that, i love to frive anyway, BUT when you guys joined the crew.....was the meet ever in 626? as far as i know, SE was born in cerritos......raised in cerritos. you guys love the crew and knew what you were getting into the first time you drove out.

i dont mean to offend anyone, but thats just how i feel. i love all of you guys and like i said im down for any type of move, but the idea of the post was to see if.........anybody minded the move to yorba linda. if people did than we would stay at cool station.

i see you guys mind the move a bit, but why should the meet be moved elsewhere.....whats wrong with keeping it in cerritos?

The main goal was just to find a place hopefully central to all members that is an inside meeting place. As it keeps getting colder and colder, we will need a large inside place to meet. It isn't so much that we are trying to move it just for convenience, it's trying to find a big enough place to stay warm.

 

i understand that moon but the feeling from this post is..... hey lets move it here....or letsmove it there.....but the question was does anybody mind the LTL move? if so. we will keep the meets in cerritos.

5 hours NORTH, not East! :D We'll be in Lost wages in March! Woo Hoo!

 

Keep in mind this is not a permament move. Just an option for the cold nights we have going on. It would be nice to move around a little throughout the year. But the majority of the meets should stay in Cerritos.

And BTW, I drive 90 miles one way to go to the meets both General and the Board member meets... :twisted:

as the poll indicates, we will be moving the meet to LTL on the next meet,NOT THIS FRIDAY. this will just be a temporary move up until the weather gets a little bit better, early next year.

So starting 2 weeks from this friday, the meet will be at LTL> thanks everyone for all the suggestions and input.
