Hello All,

Guaging from the votes on the other thead, the majority of the vote for the next SE bbq will be in the OC/LA area. tThe location we are looking at is CPE- Cerritos Park East in Cerritos. The park is centrally located in between LA,OC,Riverside & S.Bay. the park has a huge parking area next to the bbq pits and picnic tables. It has b-ball courts,bike trails,handball courts and play grounds for the kids.
I believe they even have electrical connection for a DJ set up.

With the huge success of the San Diego picnic we want to make this one even larger. bigger raffle, better prizes, more food, and a huge turnout. We can use this event as a gathering to get some pictures for the ID cards.(so all current members are encourage to attend.) all interested in joining SE are also welcome.. We can also talk about the upcoming events like the BOTI show in Fontana.

As a theme we can try and make it a Luau so all of you can show your ALOHA spirit here on the mainland, so wear your ugliest hawaiian shirt.....I'll ask my sister and check if her troop can perform and hang out with us as well. Pls do post if you are interested and add what goodies you are going to bring so we can start a list for the food items. We will also want to get your ideas, on what you want done and in what direction you want the club to go. Remember that this is your club and all suggestions are welcome, we will have an open forum to hear out your ideas.

Can't do the 17th, thats Irwindale Speedway night.

 

31st is the best for me.. irwindale is on the 17th and my sons birthday is on the 24th.

Sweet!!! Works for me, and I will definately sport one of my many hawaiian shirts. I have a whole closet of 'em. The SD one was a blast and I'm sure this one will be even better!!!!

Also, I think the El Cajon BBQ is going to be the Sunday before that for anyone interested in back to back bbq's.

31st works best for me looking at my calendar as of right now.

If we are gonna pull this off, it will take alot of work and time aka "TEAMWORK", any volunteers willing to help out in the organizing is greatly apreciated, I have alot of exams for my NASD lics. but I will be more that happy to head the organizing comittee, but will need help from some of you. Thanks

again please post if you are planning to attend and what you are bringing...the 31st seems to be the date of choice, pls also start asking some of your sponsors for prizes for the raffles prizes. we had great prizes last time. Varad lighting, full exhaust system,Mcguire wax...ect... Thanks again.

 

July 31st is good for me. ( I hope)
My wedding is coming up in less than 6 weeks so I am going to be extremely busy.

We need all the help we can get since I will be preoccupied with a lot of things left and right...

I'll make sure that I keep that date open so I can bring the famous Indonesian delicacies such as monkey bbq, roast iguana and Boa on a stick - that's always a favorite. The last time I also brought some lizards with teriyaki sauce, Nilo almost finished the whole batch. I'll leave the goat for Nacy.though.

Ryan will bring the Chamorro local dish of bat kilagwin .... I'll bring the hot sauce..LOL

Ok..I gotta go back to work..

 

i voted the 31st...i can probably do another weekend road trip to Cali ...

..and yeah i'll try to see if i can get my bro's group to go too (if they don't have any scheduled concert for that weekend)...check them out at www.r3born.com...

Welcome JC to the Evolution forums, for Those that have not met JC , he will be one of our contacts in Arizona for the SE chapter in that area. He's a cool guy and I was introduced to him by Adrian at the Islands Frand opening a week ago.

If it is the 31st I can get the some of the norcal guys to come down too! I was planning on going to see Bill in vegas, but I am sure bil can go and meet me in socal! :D
