I had my mind set on getting rid of it for an Evo X or a 135i, but I was waiting for all my contracts to be up before I listed it for sale. Then it got me thinking.....I didn't spend 20k+ to keep a car garaged for 11 months & not even drive it or be able to enjoy it. Heck, it barely even hit this yrs show season. I think I did maybe 4 local shows & 2 HIN's with the car & that's it. The 24th will mark 3 yrs of me owning the tC & I've just BARELY broken 19k miles on it. So I'm going to do some changes to it & make the car driveable & actually enjoy it. So, it'll be going to SEMA the way it is now (with very minor changes) & then I'll start doing the important stuff after the show to MY liking (no wow-factor with the next stage). I'm not gonna try and redo this entire build with a 2 weeks notice for SEMA like I did last year. I built it in 10 weeks & it was NO fun. This time, I'm going at my pace, & having fun with it, stress-free! & I'll enjoy it even more this time around knowing it's paid off.

Plus, if I were to sell the car, I know I wouldn't even get 20k for it so I'm not willing to take the hit, maybe I'll sell it in 2010 or something, but who knows.

 

Well its good to see your keeping the tC. I really like it! When are you going to be leaving to SEMA. Maybe we can roll together and Jake will be following me like last year.

 

I don't know yet. I'm waiting to hear back from my booth holder, but i'll be driving in the xB. AMEN, HALLELUJAH THE CAR'S GOING IN AN ENCLOSED TRAILER! First time it's ever setting tire on a trailer. Seriously though, I'm stoked I don't have to drive it up this time, NO "ON THE WAY TO SEMA" tickets!

 

Yeah thats what Im afraid of because it happened to me last year. Well Im either leaving Halloween or that midnight, I dont know yet. But your lucky also to be on a trailer though for sure!
