The So-Cal Scion Softball Series!
Hey Scion folks,
This is a notice to all Scion club and owners. Scion Kreationz is calling all of you out!
Who can hang with us in a softball game?
Here is the deal. In an effort to celebrate our 5 year anniversary as a club, Scion Kreationz is in the process of creating a yearly scholarship program for one lucky individual that is looking to further their education. This scholarship will be used for a student that is in an automotive program.
With the help of our sponsor and other scion owners, our goal of a $500.00 scholarship should be easy to attain. If we can collect more, then the scholarship amount will increase.
How are we going to do this? By playing softball of course! We are challenging any and all clubs or groups to play. We are asking that every player donate $5.00 toward the scholarship fund. That's it.
We will collect money and have fun at the same time. Now these games are all strickly for fun with the idea that they are all in the name of charity.
So far we have two teams ready to play, Jeff and his Revoluscion club and Jerry and Scion Image. Who's next?
The first game will be:
June 28, 2009 at 2:00pm
Revoluscion vs. SK
Los Nietos Park
11143 Charlesworth Rd.
Santa Fe Springs
Second game is TBD
All those who are interested please add to our list. Lets get this going Scion peeps!

Thanks for the interest folks! Just to answer a couple of questions. The games are not going to be in a tournament style. They are simply games for fun. We will try and schedule games for the summer time and not on days that have events already scheduled.
My crew already has equipment, however more would be helpful. If you team can provide gloves, that would benefit all.
For those individuals that are not part of a team but want to play, we will try and set up a game that comprises your group.
Again, this is all in fun and for charity.

If anyone knows of or is putting together an event or a show, please make sure to post early so we don't schedule a game on that day.
And I guess with enough interest, if more clubs want to get in and support their chosen charities, we would definately put them into the rotation.
