anybody know if we are going to have another xb cruise before it gets cold - maybe going up north

 

Whats up Tony? I remember me and Philip were going to talk about getting this together but I've been so busy with work. If anyone wants to help out I will go ask a local dealership for a beginning point and a dealership to where we can end it out.

Scion of Hollywood is always down to host the Meet Spot.

You guys can start from Hollywood Toyota and make a stop @ DCH Scion of Oxnard or we make DCH Scion of Oxnard the meet up spot and make the ending spot in Santa Maria Toyota.

 

We've thought DCH Oxnard to Santa Maria Toyota for maybe like a little show.

sup man - i remember- i think from hollywood would be great start and finish in oxnard for a small show or bbq potluck- i'm thinking maybe the end of sept to give us enough time - maybe santa maria would be ok but i think it would be a long ride unless everyone is cool with it - we can probably get the dealer to buy some pizzas or meet up at a local fast food rest to meet up and grub - Big Cheese - you think Scion of Hollywood would help out for this if we do it for the end of sept. i also remembered some one mentioned a cruise on the way up there to and old town main street -

 

I think from hollywood to Oxnard would be perfect for a cruise.

 

Main St. is out here in Ventura. It's 10 minutes passed Oxnard.

 

Im so down as long as we dont try to take the cruise down any streets lets just stick to the freeways. The last one was extremely unorganized in that aspect.

I think that going up Hwy 1 from Santa Monica to Oxnard would be more fun of a drive. I don't think that there are as many stop lights going that way either. If drivers just cruised and didn't just take off from others, I think it would be better.

 

I'm down as long as a route doesn't have 1000 stop lights. Taking Santa Monica Blvd from one end to the other one is an EPIC FAIL.

 

Driving up PCH would be awesome, Hollywood was a great host but traffic turned into clusterph*k.

 

Well if you guys want to start off @ Hollywood Scion and end it @ DCH Scion of Oxnard or Ventura Toyota I can ask them both and see what they say. We can have an all Scion xB Car show and hangout. What do you guys say?

Since it was such a problem getting from Scion of Hollywood to the PCH, then why don't we meet up at one of the big parking lots near the pier? Then get on the PCH from there and head north. We could make a stop at that resturant that was in The Fast and the Furious movie (sorry, can't remember the name of it, lol) or just keep going up the coast to Oxnard.

How about this:

We start at Scion of Hollywood (mini meet)
Drive up the 101
End of Scion of Ventura (bbq? meet?)

Now here are the changes that I think might help. Instead of everyone trying to leave together, lets break the large group into smaller more manageable groups. That way we dont have a large cluster of cars clogging traffic. Groups of 20 should be fine if not smaller. Groups will leave in 10 minutes intervals. We will pass out written routes for all drivers, that way if they get lost, they can find their way.

Suggestions for dates please.

That sounds like a good Idea. Scion of Hollywood is what a hjalf a block away from the 101? last time we tried taking santa monica(bad idea) but I think leaving at 10 minute intervals would be cool.
