well my car was parked on the street and someone hit my door...
bent.cracked.... ____ed!!!

do you think it would be best to get it fixed or get a new door from the dealer...
by the way if i decide to fix it ..i'll be going to Longo so they can match the paint perfectly....

any suggestions are encouraged.....

size of dent is 6x6 paint cracked and pushed in....

man it seems our cars are targets when parked on the street. I had my car a totol of 14 hours before someone backed into the rear driver side door. door couldn't be saved and the inside pillar was bent(she had a long driveway to pick up speed). she had insurence so it all got squared away excpt for my time without the car.

well i dont know how bad the damage on your car is, but a new door will cost around 400 bucks not including paint or labor from a dealer.

How much is ur deductible? If ur deductible is $500 then just get a new door. If u take it to Longo there's a 2-3 weeks wait time before u can actually drop ur car off + the time it takes for them to fix it. I dropped my car off on May 1 and they're still working on it, but i got a $3500 worth of damage on my car.

FYI: Never drive in front of a so called "friend" that can't drive for shiet.

Looks like about 5 bills for a door!! got to be cheaper to fix.........

 

i took my tC to Longo after i got rear-ended and the paint didn't match up.

it made me mad, but i needed the car back asap.

ahh i don't think so....
first off if i caught the person who did this and their insurance was paying for.. yes the more the better but i am fixing this myself and if they would have hit my Volks, i waould have been SOL.....
