Default sponsorships

I'm wondering how many of you who have sponsorships pay a membership fee. And what is the usual rate?

I found one at Team SCP but they have a $139 yearly membership fee. which isn't to bad, but I am also looking for a sponsor and really want to get involved with shows. Any suggestions?

breakdown of how to obtain sponsors, and different types of sponsorships.

There's no FEE to obtain sponsors and/or sponsorships. There's contractual agreements, possible discounts (partial sponsorship), & parts/services for free (full sponsorships).

By the way, you can still do shows being bone stock/slightly modded. But you're going to have some heavy competition if you're just getting in the game, and have the intention of coming home with a trophy. Trick is, go have fun without the intentions of winning.

That is my intention to enjoy what im doing. I love working on my car. And sponsorships is like a bonus. I want to go to shows for the experience, and if I bring home a trophy in the process then Hell yeah!

My sponsor is my wallet. That college degree is finally paying off

I looked at so-called paid memberships. The promised big discounts if I cut them a check, and seemed to be more of a member sales club like Sam's Club for cars. problem is, you can't browse before you send them the money, so you have no idea if what you'll save with them is worth more than the membership fee. Cances are, with ebay, used, private classifieds, probably not.

I don't go to shows to win, but want to do more than "just have fun". My new goal is to go and when people see my car they just go OMFG!

I bought it with a wheelchair ramp for my wife but she doesn't like going to shows, so I took out the front passenger seat, laid down bamboo flooring and will now have a 1981 Honda CB400A Nighthawk motorcycle "installed" in it.

Point is, don't mod just to have a checklist for the judges. Someone else will always have a longer list. Mod to make the car yours, an expression of you.

me, I'm Scikotic, so the next mod will be dual .68 cal paintball markers in the mid grill with an e-brake trigger. Happy modding
