TC Air Ride Suspension
I have a new air ride installed into my TC and everything was working good, and now the compressor won't turn on and neither will my speakers.... The compressor is attached to my amp for my speakers...the installers did it. (Is that right?) Well anyways, the system won't turn on, so I can't move. I checked all the wires, air hoses, battery, amp fuse, etc.... and everything is good, attached correctly, no leaks. etc. If any one has an idea of what might be the problem, please shed some light. Thanks.
Did you check the fuse for the amp wiring? There should be a fuse close to the battery on the wire that supplies the amp with power.
Thats pretty cheap of the installer to not run a dedicated power line for your compressor, which probably draws a lot of power but I guess if you have a large enough power cable it should be ok.

I started to play with the wires, and it works when its hooked up to the 12-V wire from my amp but not the input....where it would normally turn off when I turned off the car. So hooked up to the 12-V wire it fills up the tank and allows me to lift, but it doesn't turn off when the car is off. Does this make any more sense?
I wish I could be more help, but I'm not really that car savvy. I love cars, and my Scion espically, but the farthest I have gone on repairs is a break change, tire rotation, and an oil change.
Thanks for everyones help.

you have it direct to 12v which is the batery you need to hook it up to thr remote wire from the amp so when you kill the car it also turns off hope this helps
also keep in mind it might just be to much juice that is pulling when it is trying to fill the tank which will cause fuses to pop or wires to heat up just find a better source of 12 v

I had it installed by a dealership called 'Lawleys' down in AZ. I hope it's not the same system that you heard of, that's all I need is bad luck.
