Hey Everybody, there are still spaces available for the upcoming Danny McKeever's "FAST LANE" Driving School! This is an event open primarily to Scion tCs and Mazda Miatas. (I'm taking the tC!!!)
Here's some info for you!
Danny McKeever's "FAST LANE" High Performance Driving School
Saturday & Sunday, May 6 or 7, 2006 (both days are available) on "The Streets of Willow" at Willow Springs International Raceway, Rosemond, CA. Price is $260 for a single day; the price includes lunch. Novices will go through a morning class comprised of classroom instruction along with on-track exercises (braking, downshifting, spins). In the afternoon, everyone is on the track for gobs of driving fun! If you've done this course before or are track certified, you can skip the class and get right onto the Streets of Willow!
HOSTS: Terry & Janet Wyrick
(Terry & Janet are members of the Southern California Miata Club and they are the owners of Raven Wing Performance)
It's easy to enroll using your credit card (MasterCard Visa) online at Raven Wing Performance! Visit their website for details and pricing (about 45% off of the regular price!).
Here's a link to our website that has lots of information about this event:
http://www.ravenwingperformance.net/...Lane-Main.html
If the link is broken, just log onto www.ravenwingperformance.net and click on the announcement near the top of the page.
This high performance driving school is open to drivers of all skill levels, from the novice that just wants to be a safer driver to the weekend racer that wants to get faster. For maximum fun and safety, everyone will be grouped according to his or her comfort level and track experience.
THIS EVENT IS EXPECTED TO ENROLL TO MAXIMUM CAPACITY. (Even without an official announcement, 30 spots have already been grabbed up!) SO RESERVE YOUR SPACE NOW!
You can ask anyone that has joined us for this event in the past and they will tell you - This is gonna be FUN!!!
FYI: Raven Wing Performance (RWP) does not profit from this event.
FYI: Raven Wing Performance is listed as host for the event because Danny McKeever is hoping that most people will use RWP's ability to pre-register using their credit cards. That way the Fast Lane Driving School can receive one, easy, payment.

what planet are you living on? a high performance driving school isn't going to be under $200 unless maybe you mean in 1982. $260 is actually a super-discounted price. usually it's well over $500. danny mckeever's school emphasizes on-track time (unlike others where you sit in a classroom for most of the day) and there is always a high instructor to student ratio (like usually 2-4 instructors per every 10 students).

no, redline track event isn't part of this.
and instigator....that's right, this is a driving school not just a "track day." and even though experienced drivers can skip the class, they still have the ability to work with the instructors. i've done the class twice (once with the tC, once with the miata) and my feeling is that no one is THAT good of a driver that additional instruction won't help. i'm certainly always learning, regardless of how good people say i am.

saturday's spots are almost full but there's lots of room on sunday. go to http://www.ravenwingperformance.net for more details on the registration deadlines.
the instructors are very qualified. they all have or currently race and several are also stunt drivers. danny mckeever does prep work on the pro/celebrity toyota race cars for the long beach grand prix (which have been toyota celicas but this year they switched to ... ta daaa! scion tCs!). danny mckeever is an accomplished race and stunt driver. he is also very down to earth (as are all the instructors).
what is great about this school is that you get lots of track time and a lot of personalized attention from the instructors.
