Hey Josh, did you get your replacement windshield from FAITH QUALITY AUTO BODY? Cuz I saw their ad in the yellow pages, but it didn't mention anything about windshield repair. I just wanted to be sure before I gave them a call. I've got to get this replaced asap.

Clutch pedal stop. Kind of a homebrew mod, but it works wonders!! Stumbled across a DIY article here on SL about it and tried it out! its great! No more excessive travel of the clutch pedal, at all. Its simply engage, disengage. Barely a cm of difference.

 

isnt that excess slipping of the clutch? i dunno, ill try to check it out this week if im off work "on time".

 

nah, it just simply stops you clutch pedal from going all the way to the floor. The clutch is 100% disengaged at like 1/2 the distance the pedal travels. Theres almost 2 inches of unnecessary travel! this just gets rid of all that play. The key is to make sure that the clutch is COMPLETELY disengaged when up against the stop.
