took my fujita cai off due to almost losing my car yesturday..
never thought i would hydrolock but i guess it reallly CAN happen.. and its scary.

What is hydrolock? Does that have something to do with water getting into your intake? I thought that wasn't suppose to happen unless you're driving through a flood or something.

 

hydrolock is when water gets in your engine. one of the easiest ways in a CAI that hangs really low and can suck up water and send it straight to the engine. very bad. i was afraid of it happening to me yesterday. lucky for my i can lift my car up with the push of a button. air ride FTW!

just to be ore detailed, hodrolock is when your engine takes on water, into the cylinder, the water takes up the spaces the air would norally be in, and since water does not copress like oxygen, it stalls your engine, bends a rod or too, or even blows a hole in the side of your block. it is very uncool, and if you got motor in your engine id suggest running seafoam angine cleaner in your oil and gas tnk imediatly ray. sorry i didnt ake it yesterdays, it was the dads bday lol. fixed my power steering and replaced all my blcaklite with red led strips, a/c vent lites ftw! lol
