Man, this thread is slowly dyin'. Things have been real quiet here.

 

I've completed the modification of my tC XMOD. The last thing I needed was the bodykit, and I had to go all the way to Fallbrook in order to get it cuz none of the other Radio Shacks around here had it.
I'm so happy....

let's chip in and buy a set of crystals and we can split it? there's 6 pairs in a set.

 

Okay, so what exactly do these crystal things do? I'm confused.

 

our xmods have these cyrstals that control the car..
there is one located on your steering gun on the left side..
and one on top of the xmod itself..

if 2 of us have the same number or color crystal.. then it will pick up the wrong car and i might be controlling your car and you controlling mine..

so ya more crystals FTW!

Ok, I see now. Do all the tC's come with the same crystal? Cuz I think the only place you can buy 'em is from eBay. According to www.xmodsrc.com, the Racing Crystal Set is retired so they don't sell them anymore.
Which crystal do you guys have? I have #2.
I found a set on eBay for $15.95 with FREE shipping.

 

they're about 15-16 at RS. i've seen some. but im down to split a set.
