I was checking out this guys car yesterday, a black Crysler 300 with no plates, front or back (nice little skull and crossbones on the back though) and limo tint all the way around. It's one of the sexiest cars I've seen in a long time and he has over 6000 miles on it with not one stop by a cop!

I dont think you are allowed to keep a license plate on your dash. It has to be in the front. It is a hazard to keep in on your dash since in a car accidednt it can come flying back and slice you head.

I have not recieved a ticket on my xB yet however on the STi I have recieved 4 tickets this year so far. In CA in Los Angeles county they have the parking police do the dirty work. Can you believe that S%&*? So everytime I go to J-Town to drink or eat some Sushi almost 100% of time if I don't park in the structure I will have a ticket waiting for me ($25). I just pay it and I am done with it, I guess its my way of saying m|m to the system.

The same F-en system that gives away modified exhaust tickets to import cars when they have harleys up the **** here that are 10X louder but claim that since the engine is much smaller its is allowed a louder noise. Which makes no sense at all, because noise pollution is noise pollution, the air and people living in the communities care less if its coming from a small engine or not... If you are going to an **** be an **** to everyone equally.

FIGHT THE POWER...

um. here in NC we aren't even issued a front plate. it was the same in KS. so this begs the question, if i travel to CA will i be ticketed for no front plate? or just pulled over a lot?

my cars b-day is dec 6th. so i got over a year and 1/2 without the front plate and no tickets. And ive been pulled over for speeding, speeding, and exhibition of speed-reckless endangerment-no proof of insurance. Out of all my encounters only one speeding ticket stuck.

i always roll with a front plate. no front plate is a good reason for cops to pull me over and start asking questions about this and that on my car. whenever i goto local meets, sherrifs roll by and give tickets for no front plate.

lol... this is nuts... so do all the cops know when they see a Corvette 99% of the time they don't have plates does that mean they are going to nail all of those guys.. I doubt it.. they are biased on car discrimination which sucks for us

I have my front plate mounted with suction cups, but it's still illegal because of supposed obstruction of vision through my windshield. Anyways, I have only had one cop tell me to put my plate on the bumper, but he was waiting outside the parking garage after the Padres baseball game just checking for drunks, so he just let me go and told me to fix it. I will fix it... when I get a chance.

I can probably count on one hand the number of good laws in the Quaker State of America (Pennsylvania) and that is us only having to utilize one plate....

However, we get jacked on everything else from liquor and booze to gas taxes....

Default Solution!

My solution... Keep the sticker from when you bought on the windshield and roll without a plate. The cops will see it and not trip about it. Obviously your plates haven't come in. I went with my car for 6 months without any plates!

I sort of have a front plate...i took my california one off the front and mounted an authentic Japanese plate instead...have only had it like that for about a month so i'll keep my fingers crossed...maybe they won't really notice since there is a plate there anyway...even though its white and green and has Japanese characters on it...haha

My girl, who drives a bone stock '03 honda civic, and drives like a granny, got pulled over and harrased by a motorcycle cop for no front plate. No one is safe.
