i just bought a cf hatch and wondering if anyone knows how much or a place in the so cal area perferably in the san bernardino or orange county area that can do this for me

any auto glass repair place can do it for you. some come out to your home and do it in the driveway

 

anyone have and idea about how much it would cost?

70-80 w/o warranty.

make sure you get a lifetime warranty, my friend payed 75 dollars for his c/f hatch... one day he was driving on the freeway with his windows down and all of a sudden BAM, his rear window flew out, ended up paying $500+ for a new window + install from the dealer, his c/f hatch ended costing over 1k.

expect to pay anywhere from 150-200 with a lifetime gurantee on the install.

after the glass flew out, he got it done at the dealer.

 

ya, but i bet at the dealer its an arm and a leg. and one ********.

but i seriously wonder what the dealer would charge..

 

he said about $575 + install i think... close to 800

 

damn $225 for install...

 

why not buy a new glass and install it?? some places might charge cheaper since your buying the glass. also it would be better in the long run just in case the hatch doesn't fit right or cracks.. just my 2cts..

well isn't he getting charge around there for just to transfer the glass?? IMO that's the safest way to go.. but good luck

 

JUST GO TO DOWNTOWN LA THEIR ARE MANY GLASS PLACES IF YOU ARE TRYING TO SAVE A PENNY
