i didnt plan on going just wondering if that was a evo show, thats all!!!

 

Everyone was invited. When I got there after work at 5:30 they were tearing down for the night. There was a lot of Scinergy folks just leaving and and few Evo people. They had some major cash prizes and all were invited. You needed $10 to register for the show part. There is some stuff going on there tomorrow as well--but not as elaborate as today was...............

Today we'll be raffling off tons of prizes like car parts and various gift certificates from many vendors/manufacturers.

my kid is just as good as your kid but how come he sits on the bench? wawawa all the way home. How come evo cars win at non evo shows? Like major shows judged by people waaaaaaay beyond you and I....like Team Allstars. Hmmm, I guess Extreme Autofest/Hot Import Night judges are all asshats, maybe we should have people that have no clue about cars. Like salesmen & GM's judge so that the crap cars with a whopping set a springs and some wheels can win. wawawa all the way home.

I can see it now, the more furious your car is, the faster it is I guess. Look at all my power mods on my automatic car! Look! I got bags with an I/H/E setup! RE-TARD-ED.

Bags = Trucker Style
I/H/E = Performance Style

Bags + I/H/E = WTF Style

Theming/Style Points = Zero (you lose) wawawa all the way home

Paint + Kit + no performance mod = oooh, looks pretty, looks kinda fast now. Not fast, just furious. Personally, I think that's stupid as hell and fits more into the rice category than any mismatching Honda Civic with dents in their new body kit. But other people may like that style. Different strokes for different folks.

I know maybe you feel that you might deserve a trophy...because your car is a good as OldManCampbell's car or Dave Moulton's ToyxBox. I know your car is a good as someone that has spent countless hours and tons of money as your car. So if that's the case, maybe you or the other cars that you're thinking of need to expose your self more and show up in magazine or premier events like HIN/EAF or more recently, the EXC Luxury car show. You not only win a trophy there, you win respect.

 

I can't speek to other SE shows, but the peeps that won at the Crown shown DESERVED to win. Mike Ma was the judge and I'll live by his results any day. SE has a lot of nice rides. Be cool and give tem a little respect.
