upholstery shop recommendations SD area
Any good upholstery shops here in SD area? i just got quoted 1200 for wrapping my headliner both f/r side panel and the a pillars in suede.... is that too much or is that a reasonable price?
Rather impatient no? It's about what any run of the mill shop will quote you for the job over the phone. Depending on how confident you are you can buy the material yourself (Saves cash right there, depending on if the shop will let you, even if you don't do the next step) and get some cans of auto adhesive and do it yourself. We've got a tech article on doing it floating around here somewhere.
And while I'm here... can you two review this and take out some of those spaces in your signatures please

hahaha...just gabbin the nutts bro. HEY HAPPY BARFDAY youngster!
I dont know of any shops down that way and have not had this done myself. That price though seems really high. The material should cost no where near that unless you are getting really really nice suede. Most shops charge by the hour and experienced shops shouldn't take $1200 long to rewrap a headliner. Hell for 1200 you can buy all carbon replacemets. Even people in the DIY posts on first time attempts don't seem to take too long.
