So, I'm going to Vegas this weekend to party it up for Memorial Day, and I was thinking about taking my car. Here's my dilemna. I've got about 2.5" of ground clearance, and I don't want to run into any issues with my bumper getting ripped off. I plan on staying close to the strip, and I'll be staying at The Venetian.

My question to all you Vegas guys is this: How are the road conditions over there, I've been there numerous times, but never in my car, so I want to make sure I don't end up getting stranded. I figured if I can survive LA area, then I should be able to survive Vegas.

Wes, you'll be fine, trust me.

 

the roads there are fine but when going up or down for parking your gonna scrap the frame and the side skirts at some places so you gotta remember not to do the valet parking because you will see your car come back scraped.

 

Vegas road > LA road.. LOL

 

Sky-on ..... you could ask Mr. Meaty too... he's in Vegas and has a drop like mine...not quite tucked like yours is...but fairly low... he could def. tell you if you'd be cool or not.

Seriously though, while Vegas isn't the best roads, I look forward to getting back on em after a trip to SoCal

and x2 on the Valet, most don't have a clue how to handle a lowered car.

 

yea, I'm not really too worried about the roads more about the parking structure at Venetian. Thanks for the input everyone! If any of you have experience with the Venetian parking structure, then that would be great =]

oh, and I NEVER Valet my car, I pay them to let me park it myself, lol

 

never parked there before but in the shara and imperial palace it's pretty steep to where your frame might scrape unless you find parking at the bottom infront of a camera.

 

just grow some ***** and drive the damn thing. =)

the roads are very nice :D i have like 2.8 clearance from the ground and im good but just wanna warn u those damn square bumps before u go into hotel parking structures are ___. lol i never take my car into hotel parking lots i just have my friends pick me up from my house. ^_^ and check on ur car once a day if u can lol hotel parking lots are known to have car thieves in las vegas ^_^ i forgot how many cars got stolen at venetian this year. but u can search for it on the web.

 

There's a lot of high speed bumps leading to the Venetian parking garage and the garage itself is pretty steep as well. U can give Palazzo's underground parking a try.

the roads are fine out here except paradise which has a lot of construction right now. the thing that will get you is some entries into the parking garages

 

Tropicana at Las Vegas Blvd is pretty jacked up too but since you're up at the Venitian you get to avoid it

 

just go in another car and party it up so u dont have to worry about having anything missing.

 

^^ naw, I'm just gonna man up and take my car, I don't have any other car to take, plus its always fun to cruise to Sin City in your own ride =D

 

made it to Vegas safely yesterday, didn't bottom out on any of the structures but I'm pretty damned close! lol.

I didnt want to tell you this til after but my side skirts have been ripped off at the entrance to Cesars and cracked my old lip at the entrance of the parking structure of the IP. All this in 1 weekend. LOL. Oh not to mention, the valet at Excalibur blew out Nicole's supercharger on her Mercedes last year. good to hear you okay man.
