its gettin pretty crazy over here the sky is orange, full of smoke snowing ash....freeways closed to go south cant go north coz its closed...so we headin down to the evac site here in downtown escondio in a few mins..posted up sum pics around noon whut it lookd like at that time..,and its wayy worse than that at the moment...posted pics on a diff thread but here ya go...

Hey guys, My name is Myke. I live in Nor Cal but my brother is a fellow So Cal tC owner in SD. He's one of the people taking refuge there in the stadium. Actually, he's under one of the bridges (don't know if there's more than one). His SN here is thekevin and he, his girlfriend, and his son are there.
Let's hope that fellow Scion owners (as well as others there) are ok.

 

just wanna give everybody an update. i took this picture ~10PM in hopes of capturing a moment in time while the fire hasn't engulfed the side of the lake yet

 

DAM!!!! Whew! Great Pic!! Wish I was there! I know that's a terrible thing to say but as a photographer I can't help it.

I pray you can keep taking pics at a safe distance! LA has flames south by you and north of us. I saw the smoke last night on my way home from the show.

thanks man. it was a once in the lifetime pic that i couldn't resist taking. everyone was chillen by the side of the road just watching the fire creep down the lake.

I live in the foothill ranch area. i really wish I had a camera so I could take pictures of these flames. I need some taco bell or something, but everything is closed for miles =/

the 15 has portions of it closed. mainly near highways 76, 78, 79
