Default Window Tint Question, front 2 windows...where and how much?

Hi All,

I did a search and wasnt able to find anything specific. Where in the OC area (so cal) can i get the front 2 windows tinted to match the back windows for the best price (and how much).
I just ordered the ES Visors from Tommy and want to get the windows tinted before i put em on. :-)

preferably a place that will take em off and put em back on too if i get a fix-it-ticket

Thanks, :-)

jeff

you wont be getting them back on for free if you go back after getting a ticket. They'll take them it off for free but most places I know will just make you pay full or if your lucky like 75% again.

Oh, my sister found a place in riverside that was going to re-do hers for free, but they ended up closing down before that happened, bad luch for her, so anybody recomend a place that can match the tint for a decent price in the oc area? :-) I work in irvine, live in long beach at the moment....

You can tint the windows after applying visors. Tint is applied from the inside.

Just throwing it out there if you were going to wait for tint before putting the visors on.

Thank you, i have a co-worker who co-owns a tint place with her brother, he does all the tint work and labor, she just does the paper-work and math, hence her wrong advise on that. Thanks for the headsup...

Im a local tinter in West Covina and my friend owns a shop in La Puente. 15% is a match for the factory tint. Tinting the front two windows shouldnt cost you more than $50. Anymore than that is a rip off. If you happened to get pulled over, *knock on wood* i doubt anyone would warranty that and take your tint off for free, and then put it back on. Avergae cost to remove tint from the front windows is $20. And youll have to pay another $50 to put back on. Personally on my car i have double limo for the rear and limo in the front. If your going to tint the front windows, might as well go all the way.

BTW its a $10 fix it ticket, and you can rip the tint off yourself with a little soap and water and a new razor blade.

/\ Awesome thanks for the response, maybe i can barter them down to $50 if they try chargin more. And regarding limo tint, i would, but i figure i'd be MORE likely to get a ticket if it was THAT dark....

i first had 35% on the front, and was just as paranoid with that as with the 5% either way if you get pulled over its still illegal and still a $10 fix it ticket. i love the 5% in the front, was planning on tinting the windshield 35% but then i wouldnt be able to see my nice HID's
