Default Would this work?

I'm just going to throw it out there, so go ahead and feel free to rip it to shreds or agree that its a good idea.

Most car shows the money goes to a charity for humans, but what about a charity car show for ASPCA, The Humane Society or several local groups that rescue animals without shelters (Modjeska Ranch Rescue, Blue Bell Foundation for Cats, etc.)? It might not seem that important to most, but it is sad to know that so many animals are euthanized weekly because there was no space for them, weren't adopted, too old, etc.etc. The money could/would go to helping these places continue to operate and take in pets that people don't want or can't afford anymore*.

Just wondering if this type of ever show would ever be done or has been. That and researching on this topic for a Speech class has got me thinking (and procrastinating!).

*More and more people are actually giving up their pets because they can't afford the costs since of the higher prices for human goods (food, gas, clothing, etc.)

I mean, if I knew how to put on a GOOD show, I'd do it in a heart beat. But uh... I have a feeling I'd fail and people would hate me

i had to reread the post over without a distraction. Chels, give it time and spread the word, making it an all car show to be great for this because you know there is alot of people who have the same thoughts just that they don't speak about it and you are. my pug doesn't fight, he just pushes others because he wants to be the big boss

Aww sounds like a good idea to me!! My cars are not worth showing, but for an animal charity I'd show em anyway and donate Unfortunately though I don't think I'd be able to bring my 4 cats along like you can bring your dog hehehe

This sounds like a brilliant idea. If the meet is in San Diego on a weekend, I'll bring my puppy too. (He's not a puppy anymore, but he sure acts like one and looks like a Akita puppy at times.) It's quite a coincidence that you mention this, I was watching Animal Planet last night and was thinking of different ways to help those animals in a big way.

IntegreS_350, I've seen cats being lead around on harnesses before. Maybe pick one and bring it around?

I like the idea, I'm a dog owner myself it would be cool to be able to bring ur pets to the show.

You know who would be willing to give up there parking lot for a cause like this either a PETCO or PETSMART.

Theres a PETSMART that has a pretty big parking lot in Buena Park across the Buena Park Mall

and a PETCO with a big parking lot in Cypress on Valley View and Ball I think it is
