I've been a bit distracted all week with tests, I plan on doing stuff tomarrow, srry for the delay guys.

Alrighty, here's the thing..

We can have our meet there and we could get together a show too if we would like. The guy would like some more exposure for the dealership so if we set up a show as well that could be cool. He says he can get Scion to jump in some support as well.

Soo... I was thinking we'll do our meet one Friday night in March or April? And then he's wanting to do a release party sort of event, so if we could rustle up some people for a show then that might work. I was thinking we'll go out and find a non-scion club to do some judging for us, we had the Over the Hill Gang do judging for our show down here and everyone enjoyed it.

Anyhow, I'm gonna throw up another poll. Let me see your comments too. So do we want to throw together a show as well as a get togther and let's get a date in place too, March or April?

I say meet .. around 1st or 2nd week in march
show.. 2nd week of april

 

sounds good, there is one show on the second week of April so perhaps the 3rd week, that give some more planning time. Also, do we want to get any of the clubs involved or shall we be using our own contacts and such and sell the show as an independent, non-rigged, non-biased, everybody is judged evenly kinda show?

I must say I like the idea of having a show where we can take all of the things we've liked and hated in the past and use it to put together something awesome.

If we're planning on doing the show I'm going to need some info for the guy at the dealership, I plan to get him an email with some contact numbers of people and vendors. Please pm me with the info.

Ok, can we all agree upon the first week in March, March 2nd at let's say.. 6pm? I need to know so that I can talk with the dealership. And where is everybody, post up.

Naw, lets just give the trophies to our selves right now....
I think if we do the show towards the end of April, we can do a 50/50 and give the rest of the $$$ to Cystic Fibrosis at the annual walk in May.

March 2 works great for me.... That's actually the best friday for me... I'm there.

 

Ok... so unless someone posts otherwise by let's say... tuesday I will contact our gracious host and we'll be all set for March 2 at 6pm. Our host is Power Scion of Irvine.

Brian, awesome idea.. thats deffinately something do-able. I think as a organizer I should probably sit out of the being judged, and that gives me more ability to move around at the show and see that things are going right. We should probably open up a street class for any model that surpasses a certain number of people in attendance... but we'll get all this stuff straight when we meet with Vince.

Please add yourself to the list so that maybe we can get some pizza there!

Hey....Umm is this still an xA only meet?

 

the March meet up is for the most part an xA meet, I guess if we want some of our xB and tC friends along as well that could be cool, just make sure we keep the list going, we'll need a head count!
