I say, let's meet at X (insert location here gas station/food proximate) in KC at 12 noon and roll out at 12:30. That puts us in Ames by 5pm easily... yes? Someone more familiar with the area than I pick somewhere convenient to meet and I'll be there by noon.

Love the shirts, and just an FYI about the shirts.. All proceeds from the shirts will be going to charity this year! Shirts will be $5.00 a piece. The proceeds will be going to Spanda Inc Eyecare Kenya 2 project. The Optometrist I work for started the non-profit organization Spanda Inc last year. We went on our first medical missions trip to Eldoret and Kip Karin Kenya to do eye exams and fit glasses for people in need in that African country. the eyeglasses we fit were all used glasses donated by local Cedar Rapids people. We also trained a Native Kenyan to perform basic eye exams and provide basic eye care. This year we will be returning to Kip Karin to see many of the people we were unable to see because of time shortages, AND we will be setting up a Lab so that the local people will be able to use eyeglass frames, and Lenses donated from local labs here in the US to manufacture eyeglasses to exact prescriptions....
the funds generated from the t-shirt sales will go specifically to the costs involved to myself for this project. I appreciate all your support! I'll have more info at the show, and you can go to www.spandainc.com.

Yeah! Love the shirts! I'm sure they will sell out and generate a good amount of money for The Spanda Inc. Kenya charity project Roy has been involved with. Be sure to stop by his ride during the show to learn a bit more about what he did last year!


Also, Horberg always tells me I spend too much on trophies...I think he's on crack.

tC Mild: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
tC Wild: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

xB Mild: 1st, 2nd, 3rd
xB Wild: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

xA: 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Best Rims

Best ICE

Best Presentation

BEST OF SHOW (no Roy, the trophy isn't done yet...working on that now)


Mild and wild classing will be done by the judges as you roll in. Take note that "mild" is going to probably be VERY mild. Roy's car is a good example of that. Before judging starts we may do some reclassification just to make sure the field is pretty even.

I'm bringin the b brotha! I've been working on this thing for like 4 weeks straight! My fiancé hates it. I'm not even sure that the tc project will ever even start! I need to focus on what's important to me.

But at asylum, we'll have my b and Crystal's tc there

 

awesome.

 

Well it all starts tonight! heres wishing safe traveling to all those on the road already, about to leave or traveling early tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see everyone there!
