I know some of you that are planning on going to the Ames show are from east of the Mississippi. If you will be traveling I-80, lets hook up on the Iowa side and caravan from there. Put on a good show for the people on the road. I can meet you at Iowa 80 truckstop in Walcot. That's about 45 minutes south of me. NE1 interested?

Does I-80 go straight to Ames? Or would you hit I-35 on your way?

Yeah, planning on leaving home around 9:00 AM. That'll put us in Des Moines around noon. But if we stop at the truckstop to meet people, it may delay us a little depending on how much time we spend there.

Also, I have never drove on the highway with my -5's, so I may have to slow down a little if it handles too bad.
