CannonBall Run + Iowa = CornBall Run August 4th
Hello All,
I heard about your group from one of the members and had to stop by to introduce myself and tell you about an event I am putting on. I have been a car fanatic for years, and want to start an annual event to get all kinds of cars to one location. my last car was an E46 323CI and now I've got a Mk1 TT. Sorry, haven't had any Scions yet.
I'm organizing a strategic race across Iowa. It's called CornBallRun and it's August 4th (that's next Saturday). There will be all makes of cars there and we would love to get a few of you Scions out there. So put it on your schedules.
1 start/finish line, 10 checkpoints around the state. First one to all 10 and back takes home the cash! You choose the order and the route your take. Entry fee is $50 if you enter online before the race and $75 to enter that day. I'm also paying back 70% of the entry fee total to first place. This is about the cars and the driving... not profit.
Anyway, check out website and get registered for this event. There's a better description of the rules, and some examples from the first "trial" CornBall Run.

^^Yeah, like Ben said most of us will be at Cisco's show on the 4th over in CR. Hit us up again for the next one though with a bit more lead time and perhaps we can make something work.
Good luck with the event!

Yeah... sorry about the short lead time. I just heard about you guys the other day or I would have told you sooner. If anyone isn't going to that car show, you are sure welcome at the CornBall Run. Just ask for Jared and mention the Scion forum, and we'll be still give you the discounted entry fee ($50 instead of $75).
