KC Mayhem July 24-25
 

Hey folks! It looks like Olathe Scion is putting on a show this summer. It's going to be a 2 day event, July 24-25 . Glow off Saturday evening, car show on Sunday. Tentatively scheduled to take place at The ScionLab in the Crossroads district. As I get more details I will post them up.

i might go....be my first show if forever just to support the locals....

Need some seriously decent maps posted up for the event. I've been to the lab like four times and still have no clue how to get there without following someone else.

If someone could googlemap it and post the address, that would be awesome.

It is basically the crossroads, the Lab is just the vip area of the crossroads, but it is right off of oak street. Here is a link for better directions.

Well this is the first one, so we are hoping on a big party!

Just got back from Shine'n Dine in Springfield. I repped this up as much as possible. The interest looks very good from the area.

I had a few people ask some questions regarding the event. The details I've found on the facebook page answered most of them, so apparently the link has not been passed around enough.

I'm interested. Is there a website (other than Facebook) where I can get some details and directions? If I bring a friend with a 'teg is he gonna get beat up? =P

What exactly is this glow off? I'm thinking about coming down from Omaha since I don't think there is a scene here....

Glow off = glow. As in glowing. Meaning more than just your average lights on the car. Generally with the consumer aftermarket modifications added to the vehicle to produce the ambient lighting effects from direct or indirect visuals of increased lumen. Visual enhancement brought about the vehicular transportation unit provenanced exterior or interior altercations of pinnical lustury effulgant emits of radiant light. A.K.A... glow.

I am a simple man, I beat stuff with hammers till it either works or is really messed up. But too many big words make my head esplod!

There's a few of us in Omaha, but not too many. I'm gonna try to go, but It's too soon to tell if my work schedule will allow it.

Incidentally - I'm still looking for info that's NOT ON FACEBOOK. Facebook has far too many stalkers and creepy people from highschool that I have no desire to talk to. Apparently my first request wasn't clear enough so - one more time: NO FACEBOOK!

Swap Meet Starts at 3pm on Saturday and will go until the glow off when it hits dark.

This show will be held at Scion Lab. This will be the first Mayhem show the KC Scikotics and Olathe Toyota will be hosting were trying to get KC back on the map as a Scion town. There will be a swap meet pre glow off. Don't have a 100% details yet but it will be a 2 day show with a glow off and show on Sunday I will update all events soon.

I am going to have to come out to this, I think. I haven't been to a show in years, and its about time I started going again. Really looking forward to seeing what other local folks have done with their boxes.

It's a must be there type of thing. I'm hoping to have my carputer at least installed. The fab work is coming along very nicely though. Met the DJ... he's going to have a pretty damn good mix ready to throw out.

Are there going to be vendors and such there for scion parts? I would love it if some of of the vendors had parts on site that I could just buy. Save shipping costs, save time, ask questions, etc.

I'm not on Facebook. I will definitely go if my work schedule allows it. It's looking good so far.
