I just got confirmation of something we all need to be aware of.
Dan who is formerly the president of ScinergyKC who went by Danimal on here, got in a wreck last week where he lost control of his TC and flipped multiple times and was ejected from the car before it slammed roof first into a tree. He broke every vertibrea but 2 and will be in a wheel chair for up to 6 months. He had extensive sugery on his spinal cord and is still partially paralized on one side of his body. No report as to how fast he is going but we know dan and he was kickin it. It was discovered that he was not wearing his seat belt when he crashed. Please everyone take a moment to reflect on this and please everyone be careful. I know being around dan like I was this is hitting home with me cause he is a little bit younger than me and they say he may never drive again. I will keep everyone posted on details as I get them.

Definitely I hate hearing about things like this lets definitely keep him and his family in our prayers.

 

Something should be done to promote wearing a seat belt. There should be a drive for it or something like that. It is a shame that this kind of thing happend, but it should be used to set an example. Anyone with a heart will be glad for him being alive, but he might have made it out in better shape if he was wearing a seat belt.

Wow now that is some news, i hate to see news like this "in shock" well i can say for now god bless him to recover as fast as posibile and i hope he will get better very very soon, i am sorry to hear that please if you see him let him know that A-TEAM will pray for him to get better.

Thats too bad. I hope everything turns out alright. At least he made it through the accident. Each chapter of Scinergy should get together and send something personal to him/his family to show we all care and pray for a speedy and safe recovery.

 

just to clear things up.

dan is going to be ok.

he isn't going to be in a wheel chair.

a seatbelt may have casued his accident to be worse.

i saw dan at least 10 times while he was in the hospital and in his apartment recovering.

he is hurt, but he will be ok. chill out everyone.

I don't know how you guys found out about this so fast, but thanks for the support. I'm gonna go ahead and disprove all rumors and give you the straight facts.

I was driving down a highway with no shoulder, between 60 and 65. There was gravel spread out into the road from some farmers driveway. I hit the the gravel just right so that it caused me to slide to the right. When i went off the road i attempted to correct it and get back on the road. Because of the lip from the highway i tryed too hard to get back on the road. My car slid sidways in the highway, i once again tryed to counter steer, this time it just made me slide sideways into the left ditch. The last thing i remember was hitting the ditch and me coming off the seat. Apparently after that the car rolled numerous times. It went through a barb wire fence that some how but it back on the wheels. Still traveling at a pretty good rate of speed the car hit a bump that caused it do a front flip 12' into the tree. Just before the car completed the flip, my passenger and i were ejected through the back glass. I was thrown 20' and she was thrown 30'. Apparently i crawled over to her to make sure she was OK. We were then life flighted to St. John's in Springfield.

Injury report:
1 shattered vertabrae
All but 3 had to be corrected in some way(cracked or fractured)
Many broken ribs
Punctured lung
Broken right eye socket
Detatched tendons and ligaments in my back
Damaged nerve in my eye(causes me to be cross eyed)
cuts and bruises

I got to metal rods implanted into back which will stay with me for the rest of my life. My left leg was mangled almost to no repair. I got 53 staples all together to keep my wounds sealed. I won't be able to drive for 3-6 months, but when i am able i will be buying my next car from my hero SCOTT HORBERG! Scott came by all the time to hang out with me while i was still in Springfield. My xbox360 got damaged in the wreck and he even brought me his playstation to play while i'll was layed up. I heard Darron and his wife came by too, but I don't remember, sorry. I am walking now and the doctors think that within the next 6 months i should be able to do everything on my own again.

Once again thank you to all the people who were pulling for me during this ordeal. I wouldn't have made it without all of your support!

Glad You posted something here! Wish you again very best and i hope that passenger that ride with you gets better too. Keep us updated on your health i mean i at least still will wonder "hey what ever happen to that guy" is he ok ? passenger ? .....just rest for now i guess and get some good games to keep u in the good mode , i do know how it is in hospital or in bed , i was in hospital for 4 years , in and out 2 months in 10 days out , got over 700 stichezz ,,,,,and look at me i am cool and cant get better i guess........

so dont worry about anything right now, just keep your smile on the face .................
