Default Scion Pinups Pre-Show & Glow Off // 10.11.08 SPFD MO

You all asked for it, Here it is!!!

PRE-SHOW & GLOW OFF!!

Reliable Scion is hosting Scion Pinups on October 12th. You can find out all about it at www.ScionPinups.com

The Pinups Pre-Show and Glow-Off will be hosted at Patriot Auto Wash in Springfield MO

here is a link to the place.

Here you will be able to get your car really clean after a long day of driving and as the sun sets have a glow off. For those of you who don't know what that is, it's basically where (as Rob says) cars with more lights than a Baxter County ambulance lights up and hands out seizures with no regard for anything!

I figure that you are all going to be doing a lot of cleaning and eating and driving and sleeping (well maybe not!) so I better take good care of you all. So I have goodies, $750 in gas cards, food, hotel deals, and well . . . read on . . .

This place has the absolute best car washing anywhere in Springfield. The bays are all see through so you can see the other people washing, it has credit card machines, the coin machine gives $1 coins so you don't have to spend all day putting quarters in and the foam changes colors!

The best part is, Scion Pinups is doing it all FREE! Just like everything else, each Scion will get $5 (13 minutes and 20 seconds) for free and FREE vacuuming!

We'll also have food and drinks, and a live DJ for the evening. This is where we will award the trophy for the Glow Off Champion!!

This part of the event goes from 7pm - 9:30 pm(maybe 10). Remember, we'll need to be respectful of the owners courtesy letting us use his place and for free to boot. He just wants to get people in there and see that it really is THE BEST PLACE IN SPRINGFIELD TO WASH YOU CAR! He has fully accounted for custom cars and has no curbs in the stalls, or terrible ramps to scrape your ground effects on. One thing I will note is that you'll want to enter from the road on the West and NOT the South. The road that leads to this place from the south has a terrible entrance and could damage your cars. Most of you will be coming in off of the highway. When you do so, you'll have to drive past the place, turn left or right, turn around and come back towards the highway to get into this entrance. Trust me, it sounds more complicated than it really is. Just watch the road leading into this place and if it seems risky, look for the other entrance. Don't take a risk!!!

So if you are planning to come down the night before Scion Pinups, come on by, wash your car for free, and participate in the Scion Pinups Pre-Show and Glow Off!

I'll do whatever I can to accomodate you Tyler, but if it's not normally OK to bring a bucket (not sure why you would, not making fun I really don't) I would say probably not.

I guess you don't want to powerwash your car?

Some facilities claim it increases the 'wash time' on a vehicle using a bucket of soap. Some allow it and others do not, that's why I was curious. Not trying to cause a ruckus. I was going to wash it in KC, but your carwash looks to kicka$$ to pass up.

No. Clay is abrasive if used too much then it defeats the purpose...sheesh.
