My home is still without power and has been since friday evening. We are staying with a friend who has no power, but has heat, so we're ifne by candlelight! In case anyone reading this was going to the ScinergyOZ meeting tonight, obviously it's cancelled. We'll do it again soon, so don't fret!

Yeah, Springfield and the SW Mo area are in a completely debilitating state right now. They have declared it a national state of emergency. Last night was the 5th place I slept in the last few days. Stay warm out there.

 

Damn. I guess we got lucky over here in KS, just a lil bit of the icy stuff hit us. Hope you get your electricty back soon Scott.

we're fine, just not home. we want to go home, ya know? we'll be ok . . . hoping to have power back thursday or friday . . .

it's warm at work, and we just ran to Qdoba to get some grub. all is well.

someone send out a shout to darron (dcathcart)'s car. it got the back window smashed and car is dented up all over. he said it was close to $4000 to get it fixed, yowsa!

I'll have to resize my pics when I get a chance and upload them. I can assure you, when he says that isn't the worst of it, he's not kidding. Most of those pics look like Club Med compared to some of the stuff I've seen in the last week. I brought my cam in to dump the pics, and forgot to take it the last couple days.

I was one of the lucky ones... only without power for 17 hours on Sunday. Unfortunately, the gas companies are so backed up I can't get propane till tomorrow, and we ran out about 4:30 today, so I'm posting in about 4 layers of clothes right now. My neighborhood isn't too bad, but the end of my street is about 1 tree limb from completely blocking me off from the world and taking me out of power again. I'm hoping they get a chance to get that limb cut out before it falls.

Again, I'll try to get the pics up tonight or tomorrow night.

no internet at home, mediacom is still trying to figure out why. it's not just me, it's the whole damn city that uses medaicom . . . wierd
