it and of course the transformer was just a cardboard cutout.
we learned that if your going as a club order one big power drop for the whole group
and it's about half the cost of everybody getting their own drop.
here are some picks from our display
The judges at world of wheels are very tough. The don't look at things like lighting
and shift **** as mods. They look for clean. We spent about ten hours cleaning the
underside and wheel wells of three cars. I'm talking about wheels off and scrubbing
until no more dirt comes off. The judges get down on the floor and with a flashlight and
a mirror to look for dirt under your car. I polished my muffler. They look inside the groove
in the rubber door gaskets. They look inside your fenders in the engine bay. They look
for grime anywhere on your engine. They like to see lots of chrome on the engine. they
didn't care as much that I have powder coated a large part of my engine. They don't
care about your stereo. Trust me, there are going to by systems there that make yours
look like it came from a Pinto wagon. They look not just that you've had the car
painted but at the quality of the paint. I got marked down because I have some wear
on the drivers seat upholstery. They look for dirt in the door jambs around the hinges.
These guys don't know what to look for in an Import tuner type car. They are used to
judging custom built hot-rods and muscle cars a lot of which come in on trailers and are
never driven. One truck rolled out of it's trailer with plastic wrap on the tires and was
not unwrapped until it was set in place. They are going to judge you with the same
criteria that those cars get judged. Now the good news is that your in your own class.
They put the xA and the xB in "compact custom" class together but we have also been
in the "compact panel van" class.
If you have any questions feel free to ask. I'm glad to help.
PS. one of the xB's that showed only had springs and was otherwise stock. The one
thing you must do is CLEAN your ride until your fingers bleed.

I'll be there to look. My brothers shop he works at(HotRod Express) is going to have 5-6 cars there and my parents club(CowTown T's) are having a spot in it also. Most of the cars there are never driven, not even started. They are winched and pushed everywhere.

well capt'n and stnc looks like it might be just us .....were is the rest of scikotics?are we no longer a club or what ??
anyways what do you 2 wanna do?im thinking just meet somewere around the hall and drive in at least as a small group ya know??
Fredy's can't attend for whatever reason. I can't get Chris on the phone. Rob and Christy are busy with the kids. Big Mike might come check out the show. Greg is going with the Cobra guys (I don't blame him, I would too if I had a Cobra).
I should be outta work by two. Depending on weather, I might hit the car wash. You wanna try and get with the Scinergy peeps? I don't know if they're planning on arriving en masse or not, but if so, we can prob'ly tag along.
