Default alignment on lowered car?

Does anyone know a place around the parker area that will do an alignment on a really low car? They always tell me sorry our computers can't do that, or we can't get it on the machine lol. Would discount tire do it?

as a tech I can tell you we don't like to lowered cars.

this is for several reasons:

1. when your car is lowered it is hard to get it on the rack without damage. and alot of shops and tech's don't like to take on that kind risk.

2. depending on how low your car is and the type of machine the sensors may not be able read. (I refer to a laser machine and the sensors can't read becuase the front bumper is so low that it blocks the path of the laser).

3. alot of lowered cars cause alignment complaints because people bring them in right after it was lowered. what they don't know is that ride height will change with age. your springs and suspension have to settle. Now as they settle it changes the height and geometery of the entire suspension.

however I'm sure there is a shop around that has the equipment and a tech that will do the alignment. if you can find one just let me know. I live in thornton and would be happy to do it for you at a discounted price if your willing to make the drive.

and your tech will probably advise you that in a few weaks your alignment will change. So remember you may pay for two alignments. but mine really didn't change much at all. I did seconds after I lowered my tc.

and have fun in the snow. buuuuhhhhh.

and tony. millions of corperate dollers went in to picking a name. and as an employee, trust me, they don't take kindly to jokes. but I love hearing that I'm not the only one who thinks its a stupid name.

GO!! I mean wtf?

The car has actually been lowered for about a year but I have not had to drive it in snow or ice really at all so it has not been that big of a deal to me. Its really just the rear toe that needs to be fixed. It eats the rears and everytime I go over ice you better hold on .

Trust me I know they hate it...I get that look or that sigh everytime I take it somewhere

well just let me know if you want some help.

I've done enough lowered cars, freinds and mine own, and I'm the only one in the shop that'll willingly do alignments on lowered cars so I have no problem what so ever. hope you get it figured out.

$50 for a 4wheel. and $40 for a front.

and it's a few bucks less if your car isn't lowered cause it takes less time to get it on the rack.

I live in westminster and work at Honda 104th.

$50 is cheap. I forgot how much I paid for mine but I paid for lifetime alignment @ firestone.

yes it is.

you consider that a 4wheel alignment pays the average tech 1.2-1.4 hours at a shop rate of 70-90 bucks an hour. It's less than half price.
