So tonight on my way home corey, ryan, and myself are driving home down c470 and all of a sudden it sounds like i've thrown a rod! So i quickly start freaking out go to get over then, I notice i have no check engine light on. At this point it dawns on me, joe had this problem when he had my headers on. i blew the O2 sensor out of the bung, but this time it's worse. there are NO threads left in it. it's pretty smooth on the inside. Colton and i spent a while trying to fix it. There is just no way for it to sit back in. So my tC is parked at Colt's house untill. i can fix it.

On a lighter note i just ordered DC Sports header's so hopefully it'll sound different! we'll see.

 

DC Sports is nice! That's what I have on my B.

 

That o2 sensor is a pain I the but I would say just weld it in but you will need to put it in the new ones. Look on the bright side its a new o2 sensor.

 

put some loc tite in there and stick it back in(yeah sounds bad) but you wouldnt even need new headers if you did that

 

actully i think im going over to day he has a anti fouler im going to braze not weld it in so it will be abble to be taken out later then he can skrew in the o2 to that cause that anti fouler is alot cheaper then that o2 sensor on

 

there are no threads left in the bung.

 

So where did the threads go?

 

and the loc tite would still hold it in threads or not, wont be able to get it back out but i bet it would stay in

 

Thet all got strip out when we took out the o2 sensor. I cut new treads with a tap and di and I guess they blew out.

 

yeah i dont think when i was taking the o2 sensor out at your pot luck joe it didnt like my heavy self with a cheater to get it out lol member how hard it was to get out???

 

they're on C470 somewhere between Morrison RD and I-70

they are 4-2's so they might sound deeper. but i was looking at exhaust clips from different exhausts and it still sounds kinda crappy. oh well more HP!

if i get my headers on friday i'm going to go up to mac and re dyno it on saturday
