Hey Guys & Gals!
Jason (formerly of Unified Productions) sent a text/email out to everyone on his list about the Car Toys Tent Sale and said he has been asked to put on a show in conjunction with it.
However! The tent event is the same weekend as NOPI, and so now he wants to see how much interest there would be for having an evening show on just that Friday night (the 20th) from 5-10pm.
Anyone interested?
He said if enough interest is shown, he might go forward with the plans to promote it, and get the trophies/schwag/music set up for it.

 

Sent him an e-mail already. Nope - not interested for the day before Nopi but would be for the following weekend.

I thought it was the same day... I have no reading skills.

 

I might be interested, but that sounds like a long weekend if you are also going to attend NOPI.

 

Yeah, that's what we were thinking too...
We might not be able to do Friday night, AND all day Saturday & Sunday at NOPI too.
Especially since I work until 5 on Friday, and we wouldn't even be able to be there until like 7:30-ish.
But, for those of you that live locally maybe it would be good...I dunno.

 

So, any other thoughts on this?
Scott thought he could possibly take that day off work and we could go, but I'm not sure if I can get that day off of work too...we'll see.

 

Hey guys Jay is having the Car Toys Car Show on the Friday the 20th.


Now for those of you looking to do something that weekend that doesn’t involve racing. Car Toys WILL be having a Car Show at Southwest Plaza (Bowles and Wadsworth). It will be Friday Night, June 20th, from 6-10pm. Move in for the event will be from 4-7pm to accommodate anyone who works a full day on Fridays. Trophies should be wrapped up by 10pm. It will also be judged with nothing peoples choice. There will be 25 trophies including Best of Show and some specialty trophies. I think they said something about GC for the winners as well.

I might be game for this.. Are we rolling in together? If so, from where at what time? Also, what's the cost for this one?

We'll be there...we just might not roll in until 6:30-ish...if I can get off work at 4:00 that day.

 

i WORK TIL 6 Friday night but i will stop by after that to hang with the crew on a friday night

 

I would be down for this. I would get out of work by 330 and be there by 5. I needed to go down there and check out amplifiers anyway.
