Default Colorado Renaissance Festival

Trina & I used to go to one in WI every year and had a blast. We were planning on going to this one here and checking it out soon. I thought it might be a good get together for all of us ScinergyCO folks, or anyone else that might want to go. I am posting this up for discussion as to when might be a good time to set this up for. I know there are a bunch of shows coming up but I thought we might be able to shoe horn it in somewhere.

My suggestions for dates are as follows:
June 9 (Same day as KBPI Show, opening weekend, buy one admission get one free at Wendy's)
June 17
June 30
July 7
July 8

Anyone have a preference?

The real question is...
Who is going to wear their garb?

I agree. I don't think any of my special outfits would be appropriate for a Renaissance Faire. Or public, for that matter.

We go almost every year, and have outfits too...It's fun!
I'd like to push it out to July though, since there are so many shows and stuff coming up to suck the funds from our pockets...
July isn't busy yet, and would be better with funds available for us too...
I guess we'd vote for the July 7th or 8th dates.

Im no buddy, but I vote for July as well. June 30th there is a show at Shooters on 88th and Grant that Im helping out with and if there is bad weather on the 16th, I gotta push the event back to July 7th. (because of NOPI and this other committment.

Thread resurrection. I have heard there was talk of maybe doing a ScinergyCO meet here this coming weekend (July 7-. Any interest? Either way, I plan on going this weekend and also on July 29. I have family flying in on the 29th and think they would enjoy seeing it. That also happens to be the last day it is open for the year. Please let me know if you want to go or meet up for either of those days.

I think we might be up for it still too! But I think we'll avoid going in costume, since it has been so hot lately! I'd rather stay cool and enjoy the day!
Let's see who else wants to go?

Yep, Saturday works best for us too (instead of driving down two days in a row again). Then if we go early enough to walk around at the festival, we can come back down and still make it to MC's for dinner!
