ever been side swiped by a semi?
Was the semi driver "special" or was he just not paying attention. I know truck drivers put up with a lot of crap but I do get annoyed with them. I have had a few close calls when one decided he "had" to get over in my lane. I have had to hit the breaks or go on to the shoulder a hand full of times because truck drives felt the could just go over or were not paying attention.
damn that sucks to hear... i never been sideswiped by a semi but i've been rear-ended by one... the driver told the police that my gs-r was way too low so he couldnt see me.
anyways... hope everything is okay and more importantly, your not injured.

those pix are horrible, you are just getting some bad luck. At least now you can get a complete paint job possibly and maybe new rims and stuff. Make sure they take care of you quick
Thanks everyone
I was passing this guy in the left lane with a grand am like 4 carlengths ahead of me, and all of a sudden he came into my lane. After? I pulled over and so did the trucker....and he tried to blame it on me? So the cops didnt write anyone tickets......and now we see what insurance says.

Did you guys see the news last night? A semi hit a patch of ice and the rear bed (however long it might be, 40'?) went sideways, smashed another car which shot into the police cruiser. There was a camera on the cruiser that was filming the entire thing. Both cars got smashed pretty well...semi faired a little better! I needed a new pair of trousers after watching it...
I could've named this thread, "Ever sideswiped a semi!?"
I haven't done either, but my step-dad used to drive 75 miles to and from work.. so on the way he would usually be really tired and occasionally would fall asleep.. once he drove long the guardrail.. oops. Another time? He sideswiped a semi. WOOPS. Fortunately our neighbor worked in some sort of auto shop so he got us the quarter panel for the Ranger (and had it painted the exact color) for only $90.
Sorry to see this to your baby, though. Hope the insurance will help you out.
