Going north on 36 the overlook is going to be on the right just as you come up the big hill before you can see Boulder. There is a sign before you get to it the says something like "Scenic Overlook - 1/2 Mile".

 

...and that means SLOW DOWN NOW!
Hehehe...we almost overshot the overlook entrance when we pulled into it the first time! LOL

West - north - north west - whatever. Get on 36 and go towards Boulder. The overlook is ~1 mile past McCaslin on the right side.

So, are you guys getting all this yucky white stuff down in Denver and Castle Rock too yet?
I drove the tC to work this morning, and it was just wet when I left home, but the roads got steadily worse towards the mountains...I hope by the time I have to drive home this evening that it won't be even worse! Please melt, melt, melt?
The news said tomorrow would be windy and cold, and then a high of 56 on Saturday and cloudy too.
I think I may skip bringing the tents and the banners, and all that other stuff, since we probably won't need them for the show on a cloudy day anyway (and last year the banner got walked on!).

 

Yeah, We are getting hammered down here... I guess I wont waste my time washing the car before the show.
Bummer.

 

Ya it's pretty snowy here. but it's not sticking to the roads. my shose are soaking wet from having to walk back and forth between the parts departments.

 

Depending on what it looks like Saturday morning - I may pass on this show.

 

Yeah, I think we ALL may need to check in here Saturday morning to see if any of us are even going to make it to the show!

Yeah, but some people may "wimp out" since it will be cold I'm afraid. We still plan on going so far, but if everyone backs out on Saturday morning, we won't make the drive down then...

 

im going its a free show and its suposed to be hot that day

 

ill be there rain or shine.

 

I can NOT get from Castle Rock to Boulder with a clean car on Saturday if it's still snowing at at 9pm on Friday. Also, I'm not going to get up 5am to drive up to boulder to see if there is a clear path from the car wash (which isn't that close as I found out last year) to the show.
HOWEVER, that should not stop YOU if You want to still go.
