Default Good news/ Bad news.

The truck will be returned to me in 3 to 4 days painted one color! Med Grey Metallic.
So I'll drive that while I find/buy/install the parts I need to fix the xB from hitting a tire at 75mph on I-25.

Thanks Garvin for the motivational talk!

It broke the clip that holds the bumper to the fender, that caused the wheel well to become loose, which allowed the wheel well to rub against the wheel, causing friction, that in turn wore away the front of the wheel well.
If not fixed will splash water right in to my cold air intake.

So a typical tale of cause and effect...(you lost me at friction )

Sorry to hear that Mr. Frost. I hope you can get that fixed asap. The roads wouldn't be the same without your yellow xb!

The truck is finished being painted. And even though they stole tools out of my truck, Lost parts from inside the cab I needed, tossed all my trim that I removed in to the back of the bed. And told me 5 times that It will be finished the next day...

They did a really good job on the paint! I'm very happy with the $380 paint job! I ended up paying more then that to fix the rust holes (could see daylight) and some rock chip protection and paint the inside of the door jams. So total $840. For as much work they did. No one else would touch it for that price.

I plan on putting the trim back on it this weekend. You'll probably see it before I post the picture anyhow.
